Summary Description
Operate CNC machine and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the proper cleaning and preparation of castings as stated in the OMS/process sheet; efficiently inspect castings.Essential Functions
- Safely and correctly operate CNC machine
- Perform work in accordance with specific job work instructions
- Accurately identify casting defects to determine if part is acceptable
- Correctly fix any defects to ensure compliance with standard
- Accurately use all tools, gauges and instruments
- Follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy
- Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned
High school degree or GED is required; must have CNC training and/or be able to certify to meet standards of operation, care and maintenance of equipment.
